Take on the Iconic Ride London event and support Sheffield’s NHS.
A celebration of cycling, the Ford RideLondon-Essex 100 is ideal for those seeking a tough but achievable challenge.
Cyclists of all backgrounds and abilities cover 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex.
You will join 25,000 other riders at the central London start line, and cycle out into Essex countryside before taking a U-turn back towards the iconic surroundings of the Capital.
You'll end the challenge by crossing the finishing line over the famous Tower Bridge where you’ll receive your well-earned medal. This is the only fully closed road cycling event in Britain.
General registration for the event costs £99, but sign up with us for just £25, plus we ask that you raise a minimum of £475 in sponsorship.
Our experienced Fundraising Team are on hand to support you every pedal of the way with your fundraising. If you’re getting together for a team challenge with colleagues our Corporate Team will help you to maximise sponsorship opportunities.

Once you sign up, you will receive a welcome email from our team and a fundraising pack containing your free Sheffield Hospitals Charity training t-shirt.

By signing up to the event, you agree to the below terms and conditions:
Registration fees are non-refundable
You will make every effort to meet the minimum fundraising target, and deadline set by the charity. (£475)
The charity will not accept any liability or responsibility for your taking part in this event
You will send any funds raised directly to the charity within the timeframe agreed. Failure to do so is considered theft.
This event is organised by a third party provider who is responsible for organising the event and event logistics
By signing up to this event, you agree that we will pass your details onto the third party provider in order for them to process your registration for the race
As part of the registration process, you will be sent a portal activation link by the third party provider. It is your responsibility to activate your place, which will enable you to receive your runner number and take part in the race. If you do not activate your place, you will not be able to take part in the race and Sheffield Hospitals Charity accept no responsibility for this.
We will not offer refunds for those who are unable to take part in the race due to not activating their registration.
By attending the event you acknowledge that photographs and filming may take place at the Event. Sheffield Hospitals Charity reserves the right to use images and videos recorded at the Event in future marketing materials, including social media channels, websites, and print material, without obtaining any further approval from you or making any payment to you. If you do not wish your photograph to be taken please notify the photographer during the Event.
