Your donations help fund so many ongoing projects and initiatives across Sheffield’s NHS.
From accommodation so parents can be close to their baby needing round the clock care, specialist cutlery so patients can eat with dignity, and staff wellbeing initiatives - ensuring we look after the people that take care of you.
We’re proud to fund the Dementia Practitioner Service who enable people with dementia and their carers to feel safe, valued and well cared for. The team works across Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to create dementia friendly environments, enhance dementia education for staff and provide a library of resources to help provide stimulation to people living with dementia.
We fund Arts in Health and Voluntary Services across Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The Arts in Health team bring music and art to the wards, providing creative activities and enhancing hospital environments for the benefit of patients and staff. There are over 400 volunteers welcoming visitors to our hospitals, helping people to their appointments, delivering medication from our pharmacies and reading to people at their bedsides.
The work we fund is only possible through generous donations, fundraising events, corporate support and a coming together of our community.
