Safiya Saeed is the 128th Lord Mayor of Sheffield. When a team from the charity were invited to meet her inside the Lord Mayor’s parlour at Sheffield Town Hall, she shared that Jessops Maternity wing holds a special place in her heart, as it's where she had four of her children.

She told them, “Jessops is a part of this city and it’s a hospital we should be proud of. For me, every birth was different, but the midwives were always there with such kindness and care, helping me feel confident even when I was overwhelmed.”
