The Sheffield Teaching Hospitals’ Thank You Awards are a chance to celebrate the incredible people who make a difference across our NHS every single day. These awards shine a light on the dedication and hard work shown by staff right across the Trust.
Colleagues are invited to nominate individuals or teams who have truly gone the extra mile, and this year more than 550 nominations were submitted. Each one tells a story of commitment, care, and the positive impact staff have on patients, families, and each other.
We enjoyed being able to take a special moment to come together with one of our Trusts to recognise the amazing work our NHS staff do every day. The evening was held at Cutlers’ Hall and was hosted by BBC Radio Sheffield’s Ellie Colton.
We’re honoured to fund and support this event to help recognise our NHS staff. Awards on the night included Individual of the Year, Team of the Year, Role Model of the Year, the Delivery Award, Innovation Award, and Excellence in Patient Care.
The incredible volunteers for the Relax Breathe Sing sessions were winners of the Volunteer of the Year award. We funded this incredible project, and you can read more about the importance of this here.
Shasta Ashraf, our Director of Grants, said:
“We are proud to fund the Thank You Awards which recognise the extraordinary commitment, kindness and professionalism of staff working across the Trust. To the winners, runners-up, and everyone working at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, thank you for everything you do to help patients, their families and your fellow colleagues!”
A huge congratulations to everyone who was nominated and to the winners on the night. Above all, thank you to every member of our NHS staff who works so hard to support people across the city. You make a real difference.
