SHC Transform Staff Spaces thanks to Gala Ball

Sheffield Hospitals Charity teamed up with Veezu (formerly City Taxis) to raise funds that developed safe spaces for NHS staff.

The event had many memorable moments with Dan Walker as the host, food prepared by Jean-Christophe Novelli, and a headline performance from the 80’s icon Martin Kemp.

The event raised a phenomenal £140,001.30.

Following the success of the event, Sheffield Hospitals Charity have been able to transform several staff spaces at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. These include a calm room, staff kitchens, and Schwartz Rounds.

The Rounds provide a place where NHS staff can come together to discuss the emotional and social impact of their work. These sessions are designed to help staff feel more supported, allowing time and space to reflect.
