How it all works

Where we are collecting

We'll pick up your tree if you're based in any of the following postcodes:

📍 S5, S6*, S7, S8, S10, S11, S12, S14, S17, S35, S36* 

*selected areas within these postcodes

How to register your tree

Go to the Just Helping site to register your tree - You will be asked to enter your postcode to check if there is a Christmas tree collection in your area. If your postcode is in our collection zone you will be asked to enter your contact details and full collection address. You can also make a donation to support our work.

What you need to know about this year's collection

• All trees that we collect will be recycled and reused across Sheffield in a variety of ways. This includes, being used as bedding for the animals in Heeley City Farm, and for community projects at local allotments.

• Our team of amazing volunteers will be collecting from 9th - 12th January 2026

• Registration closes at midnight at midnight on 5th January

• Your tree must be ready to collect by 8am on Friday 9th January, please note we cannot guarantee what time or day your tree will be collected.

• Your tree must be left in a clear, unobstructed, and visible location. If possible, without causing obstruction - on the path in front of your property.

• Due to Health and Safety policy our lovely volunteers are unable to, under any circumstances, enter your property (e.g. house, garden, gated driveway) or any confined or restricted space to access your tree.

• Remember to take off any decorations, take the tree out of the pot (if it has one) or remove the base. We cannot remove or recycle these.
