Sheffield United Bring Festive Cheer to Families at Jessops

Families and staff at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Jessops were treated to a festive football surprise this week as players from Sheffield United Football Club paid a special visit.

The unit provides neonatal intensive care and special care for sick and premature babies born in Sheffield and those transferred from other areas who need their expertise.

Ben Mee, Emma Taylor and Lauren Thomas visited the parents and babies, delivering a range of thoughtful gifts. They brought smiles to families and staff, offering a welcome boost during what can be a challenging time.

Sam Earnshaw, Director of Brand and Communications, said:

“We’re incredibly grateful to Sheffield United and the players who visited Jessops, and we’d like to thank the club for their generosity and continued support. Visits like this make a real difference to families and staff on the unit, particularly at this time of year, and it’s wonderful to see the positive impact their kindness has had.”
