If the value of your request is over £5,000, then we want to support you in putting together your very best application.
To assist you, please complete an Expression of Interest. If we think your idea is eligible for charitable funding, we will send you an application form.

If your Directorate/Department does not have access to charitable funds, then you can apply to one of our Funding Calls or you can seek advice on the most appropriate funding avenue from the Grants Team at grants@shct.nhs.uk.

What's the approval process?
Applications of over £5,000 are reviewed by the Grants Investment Panel, which meets six times a year.
Application for research funding of over £5,000 are reviewed by the Research Grants Investment Panel, which meets twice a year.
You can expect to receive a notification of the outcome within two weeks of the Panel meeting. If you have been successful, we will be issuing you a Grant Acceptance Form to activate the grant.
